WARNING: Web version is a bit bugged and does not have particle effects. Enemies take 2 hits to kill but you will have no hit feedback on web. I would recommend playing the pc version which works as intended.

Web Version (kept separate so people don't automatically play it):

In this dice rolling roguelike fps game, get ready for a challenging fight as you battle against endless waves of skeletons. Fear not however, by your side you have your trusty revolver and a cosmically powered die with various rune traced into it's faces. Wave by wave you'll be able to further refine your dice's abilities until at last the skeletons pose no challenge to your immense skill. Beware however, death is final and all progress will be lost if you fall to these undead foes, when you fall I welcome you to add your name to other lost souls by posting how waves you survived in the comments.

Beyond that... enjoy the fight, the music and curse the rng.

If you enjoy it or hate it please let me know any feedback you may have.

This game reminds me of COD Zombies, which I love! Very polished visuals for what was created in 4 days! The horde of enemies were unable to enter the first room - unsure if intentional. I personally think the dice mechanic does not function any differently than a random skill generator in other games so the dice theme feels kind of forced in, if that makes sense. This doesn't affect the gameplay at all so is more of a nitpick. Overall it was a blast to play!

Realized I never actually replied which is partially because reading your comments about how the dice function... well can't disagree at all. Was originally trying to go for a combination of Astrea: Six Sided Oracle and Friends vs Friends but kinda lost track of why Astrea uses dice in the first place (needs to lean more into the lets go gambling aspect and needs to treat each dice as an individual card/piece of the deck).

Thanks for the feedback and insight!

When downloading the game, inside the zip folder the actual game is the exe file named “Six Sided Ne-off Gambit”, it’s generally third from the bottom.

If windows tries to “protect you” by stopping the game from running, you can click “more info” (small underlined text) which then gives you the option of running it anyway

If you find yourself stuck in a doorway facing a horde of enemies… you can simply dash through them, their collision does not affect you while dashing. This will likely happen when first trying to get into the main chamber.

(one could call this problem of door cramming a design issue… they would be correct but shh)
