Face Off

Face Off is a top-down 3D PvP game supporting 2-4 players, combining deathmatch shooting and cult conversion mechanics. The game supports keyboard and mouse controls and is compatible with most gamepads.

Players use the ability to throw masks to convert characters on the map into members of their own faction, capturing as many characters as possible, regardless of whether they are neutral or enemy. Players can also switch control between their initial character and any followers within their own faction to transform more characters or more strategically against enemy players.

The game ends when only one player remains with followers in their faction, or when the round countdown ends and the player with more followers wins.

Technology Notes

Maya and blender was utilized to design the character models and animation. We used Canva and Photoshop for 2D art.

《Face Off》是一款俯視角3D PvP遊戲，支援2-4名玩家，融合了死亡競賽射擊和邪教轉化機制。遊戲支援鍵盤滑鼠操作，也相容於大多數遊戲手把。

玩家利用投擲面具的能力，將地圖上的角色轉化為己方陣營的角色，盡可能地俘虜地圖上的角色，無論他們是中立陣營還是敵方陣營的成員。玩家還可以在初始角色和己方陣營的任何追隨者之間切換控制權，以便轉化更多角色或更有效地對抗敵方玩家。

遊戲結束的條件是：當只剩下一名玩家且其陣營中仍有追隨者時，或回合倒數結束後，擁有更多追隨者的玩家獲勝。
